I’m sure you have better things to do than read this short story, but perhaps you don’t.
I was browsing one day in the men’s department at Neiman Marcus when this dark blue blazer caught my eye.
Although the tag on the cuff said it was on sale, it still cost more money than I cared to spend. Tempting fate, I tried it on. Just then, a saleswomen appeared.
“It fits you perfectly.” she said
“Yes,” I said, “but I really don’t need it.”
Without missing a beat, she replied, “We don’t sell things people really need.”
The reason I’m telling you this story, today I put a single-family home, outside of downtown Boston, under agreement.
The listing real estate agent, was the same saleswomen from Neimam Marcus a few months back.
