This weekend saw some additional news on the sale of the old Filene’s property by Vornado and John B. Hynes III. The Globe managed to find a New York real estate source to quote who actually called Boston “Beantown” (please) while the Herald speculated on the most-likely buyer : Boston Residential Group. But Hynes doubts he and Vornado will get an offer worth taking.
