With the stock market in free fall since August 1, you may be wondering how the Boston condo market is doing. Well, put your ear closer to your computer screen and I’ll let you in on a secret – It’s doing just fine.
Looking at Boston-proper condos going under agreement from Aug. 1 to Aug.8, 2010 compared with the same period in 2011, you’ll notice the troubles on Wall Street haven’t (yet) affected the Boston real estate market. I know my critics will say: “You can’t use eight days as a fair comparison.” Perhaps so, but it’s worth noting:
