NIMBY policies have prevented towns from building desperately needed new housing in Massachusetts, causing a housing shortage and absurdly high prices.
Now it seems big national home builders are increasingly entering the Massachusetts market, if only because they’re the only ones that can afford the attorneys for all those planning and zoning commission meetings.
Thanks, NIMBY-ism, you’ve done it again.
