It was the knees that caught his eye. The Beacon Hill rental agent didn’t realise they were her real knees. He thought he was looking at patterned jeans but they had streaks of rips with the tattoos poking through. How odd.

When he looked more closely he realised she was a goth. She was not a loud over the top look-at-me Goth. She was gentle and beautifully manicured but unconventional in a non threatening way, but the Beacon Hill agent was disturbed realizing that he had a bad opinion about this subset of society.
