Investor Warren Buffett is known as the humble Oracle of Omaha, the guy who never lost touch with his roots and kept to his hometown of Omaha, despite being one of the richest men in the world.
But he did once own a nice California beach-front home, which he sold for a tidy profit a few years ago and is now on the block again at a discount. By California standards, it’s certainly not opulent, though it’s definitely nice. By Omaha standards, it’s, well, certainly not Omaha.
Nothing against Warren. Everyone is entitled to splurge now and then. But the home is a little surprising considering his public persona.
