More evidence that developers have finally figured out that it’s condos, stupid, not apartments, that are needed in Boston. From the BBJ:
A Milton-based developer has filed plans for a 33-unit condominium project for 488 Dorchester Ave. in the Andrew Square section of South Boston.
The $8.5 million development proposed by R&B Investments LLC, an entity owned by Thomas Broderick and Timothy Russell, would replace a single-story warehouse containing the offices of Deco Systems, a trucking company that is relocating. Under the plan, a 49,900-square-foot, four-story building would be built, including 2,091 square feet of ground-floor retail and a 33-car garage.
