In the video below, Barbara Corcoran speaks about the national housing market. One interesting point she makes, that there’s a lot of home buyers sitting on the sidelnes waiting for interest rates to drop. Barbara stated, if rates drop 1%, she thinks “housing prices will go through the roof’
My thoughts as a Boston condo broker
I don’t always agree with Barbara, but in the video above, I do strongly agree that they’re numerous home buyers sitting on the sideline waiting for mortgage interest rates to drop. If that happens, in our housing market, I feel Boston condo for sale prices will go through the roof.

Out-of-work ex-real estate agent Barbara Corcoran was on “Good Morning, America” this week to discuss “What your broker won’t tell you”.
Pretty much, the advice was helpful to those using a seller’s agent (an agent who shows you the listings, but works for the seller, in all cases). If you work with a buyer’s agent, who has your own best interests at heart, you will avoid these.
What the Broker Might Not Tell the Buyer
“I think the house is overpriced.”
“The house has been on the market for six months.”
“They’re building a skyscraper across the street.”
“I’m going to show you a crappy house first to lower your expectations.”
