South Boston condo broker and his routine luck
Sean cursed his bad luck as he watched the morning Redline pull away without him, exhausted racing up the stairs. Climbing aboard the next Redline train after his Beacon Hill showing, he calculated that if he hurried he would have just enough time to buy coffee without being late for his South Boston condo closing.
When the T arrived at the Broadway stop in South Boston, he ran to Starbucks, it was exceptionally busy and he fidgeted nervously thinking, ‘What rotten luck.’ With only two minutes to spare, Sean grabbed his cup and raced out the door narrowly avoiding a collision with a young blind man and spilling her coffee everywhere. Looking up at the disabled man Sean thought, ‘I am so lucky.’
