Rep. Brian Wallace (D-Cornerstones) says his neighborhood is “under siege”, and needs relief from all the construction going on, in South Boston.
Fine, I say. Put a stop to all future construction projects proposed for South Boston.
But, just to make sure we’re in agreement on this, Representative, when you say “South Boston”, you mean “South Boston”, from A Street to Farragut Road, and from West 1st Street to West 9th Street, right?
I mean, the area near the Boston Convention Center? That’s not South Boston, sir. Respectfully, that’s the Seaport District.
Anything they want to build there should be built. Without discussion. Without delay.
