Beth lived in her Brighton condo for 10 years now—long enough that she didn’t even see it anymore. Beth started dreaming about moving into a house, where she was bound to be happier. She fixated on a little yellow houses somewhere in the suburbs of Boston and watched them from the train on her outbound commute to Waltham. “Oh, look—there’s one!” She would say as it slid by.
Then one day, sitting in the sun on her patio, Beth looked up and realized the outside of her condominium was done in yellow brick. She already had a yellow house. And she was home!
