“The Boston Redevelopment Authority board of directors approved a developer’s plan to add three stories to the former Penny Savings Bank on Washington Street in the South End. The building, formerly owned by the Archdiocese of Boston, will be turned into 23 condominiums.
The estimated cost of the project is $19 million. Construction will begin this July and is scheduled for completion in June 2006.”
