North End Condos

Boston’s North End is characterized by brick row-houses, many of which are still individual owned and are used as apartment rentals. The row-houses, unlike the Beacon Hill and Back Bay, were not designed originally as single family houses. They were constructed  as apartments, and some were converted into condos.

Boston’s North End Neighborhood

The North End neighborhood is located at  the very northern tip of downtown Boston. As such, it is surrounded by waterfront. On the eastern side are historic wharves that have become luxury condos. The South side of the North End is the Rose Kennedy Greenway. This connects the North End to the rest downtown Boston

The North End

The North End still has a traditional old Italian-European vibe to it, with restaurants, but there are many old-school meat, produce, and cheese shops, making it a gastronome’s delight.
